Terms of Service

Effective May 20, 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of Dungeon Diary (“the Service”), operated by OneNomad LLC (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, accepting an invite, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The product

Dungeon Diary is a campaign management web application for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. It provides worldbuilding, character, combat, dice, audio, and AI-assisted content generation tools for tabletop role-playing campaigns. The Service is offered as-is during private beta and may change materially without notice while in beta.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required for digital consent in your country, to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3. Beta access

Founding-member and beta access is offered at our discretion to specific users. Free founding-member access, when granted, persists for the life of your account on all paid features that exist as of the date of your acceptance, subject to ordinary terms (acceptable use, etc.). New features added after general availability may be offered as add-ons.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate any person, in-game or otherwise.
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights you don't hold, that is illegal in your jurisdiction, or that contains sexual content involving minors (this includes AI prompts).
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or rate-abuse the Service, its APIs, or the AI generation endpoints.
  • Resell, white-label, or sublicense the Service without a written agreement.
  • Use the Service to generate or train competing models.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of every piece of content you create or upload to the Service — campaigns, characters, worldbuilding, notes, audio recordings, uploaded images, and AI-generated content that you direct the system to produce. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, back up, and display your content for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you and the people you've invited to your campaign.

We do not use your content to train AI models. Generation calls are routed through OpenRouter to third-party model providers under zero-data-retention terms where available.

6. AI-generated content

Output from AI features (NPCs, quests, lore, images, etc.) is a statistical prediction, not a guaranteed-original work. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing or sharing it outside the Service. We make no warranty that AI output is accurate, free of bias, or non-infringing.

7. Payment & cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund already-paid periods. Founding members aren't billed for the features included in the founding-member offer.

Prices, plan structure, and feature gates may change. Existing subscribers will be notified of price increases by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

8. Players in your campaign

Players you invite get free access to the campaigns you share with them. They are bound by these Terms when they sign in. As the GM you control visibility, removal, and roles within your campaign; we do not mediate disputes between members of a campaign.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, for prolonged inactivity, or if continuing to provide the Service to you becomes commercially unreasonable. On termination we will retain backups for up to 30 days, after which your campaign data is permanently deleted.

10. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Delaware], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved through good-faith negotiation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Delaware], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
