Dungeon Diary is built by Matt Stvartak. I've been DMing for nine years. My current campaign is in its third year. I started building this because the alternatives didn't fit how I actually work.

What we believe

• Tools should hold the whole campaign. Not the wiki, not the combat, not the notes — the whole thing.
• The craft comes first; AI is optional. Everything works without it — and if you do reach for the co-DM, it reads your campaign instead of inventing generic fantasy, and never changes your world without your say-so.
• Players are network value, not customers. They're free, forever.
• Your data is yours. Markdown export, JSON export, soft delete, no lock-in.
• Ship weekly. Real changelog, public roadmap, founder votes.

Where we are

Private beta as of May 2026. 15 founder seats. No customers yet — when there are quotes, they'll be real.
